Yard Management

Yard Management provides real time tracking of every facet of yard and trailer movement. Starting from the point of vendor shipment and ending at outbound loads dispatched to customers, the system provides accurate and efficient scheduling of receiving and shipping goods to and from the warehouse. Using a three-dimensional graphical user interface, a warehouse manager can fully visualize what is occurring in the yard, survey and evaluate all situations and perform critical management operations without leaving his desk. The manager can view a trailer loading percentage and age via color coding and retrieve critical information such as trailer category, carrier, pending moves, appointments, capacity and door assignments. He can then find out the status and location of goods to effectively prioritize appointments. The manager can also control yard movements via drag-and-drop while automating the activities between warehouse dock personnel and yard jockeys.

Yard Management is fully integrated with the Warehouse Management and Sorting Systems to ensure seamless operations and efficient inventory/order management across the entire distribution facility.

Yard Management tracks in real time all inbound vendor shipments to a distribution center along with all outbound customer order shipments.
